We missed it last year, but some people have been making interested noises -- who else wants to play? We could start it any time between May and September, anyone have preferences?
The 2009 sign up post has lots more information about remixing in general and this remix in particular.
Thank you so much to all our wonderful Remix writers and readers, with a special thank you to v_angelique, our back-up writer. We hope you had a great time and that you will do it again next year!
Title: Five Movies Elijah Wood Didn't Make Author: Cesare (almostnever) Original story: Reading The Script by trianne. Pairing: Dom/Elijah Rating: PG13 for innuendo & implied sex. Summary: Elijah considers several screenplays. Dominic has a unique way of helping him decide. Warnings: No obvious warnings needed. Post-reveal Notes: Thanks to Kanata/Kyuuketsukirui for spelling/grammar check!

Title: Hanging in the Balance (What Is Left Unsaid) Author: v_angelique Original story: Oh, Brother! series by stormatdusk Pairing: Sean Bean/David Wenham with an appearance by Viggo Mortensen Rating: NC-17 Summary: Sean and Dave explore their fantasies. In his head, Sean explores something else entirely-but that isn't them. Warnings: BDSM. A light incest kink (no actual incest in the story). Pre-reveal Notes: Since the original was a fun, playful, dialogue-driven romp, I thought I'd play around with using the exact same basic plot but making it a more serious kind of sexy, with some of the blanks filled in (and some new blanks tucked in as well). Post-reveal Notes: I'll add that in one of my remixes a couple of years ago, I tried keeping the dialogue exactly the same while changing the mood, but this time I wasn't quite able to swing that. I hope it still does the original justice :) Beta and Britpick by the unmatchable rainbowcobweb

Title: Emerging Author: idri_fic Original story: Drowning by savageseraph Pairing: Sean Bean/Viggo Rating: NC17 for language Summary: Sean is clueless. He returns to New Zealand to find two unexpected people waiting for him with unexpected (and unwelcome) news. Warnings: None Pre-reveal Notes: The original fic was an improv fic written in 60 minutes! *salutes savageseraph* The original's aim was to tell a story from the point of view of someone who was neither part of the pairing, nor in love with one or more parts of the pairing. This takes a different point of view, yet is very firmly based in the wonderful and insightful original fic. Post-reveal Notes: With thanks to savageseraph for making her stories available for re-mixing and to feelforfaith and msilverstar for their patience and for their contributions to this fandom via running the Remix as well as everything else they do.

Title: Dr. Jones, I Presume? Author: foxtales Original story: What Was That, Indy? by sassywitch Pairing: Billy/Dom Rating: PG at best Summary: Ordinarily, it wouldn't have been a problem because ordinarily, actors were replaced before principal filming began. Unfortunately for Billy, this wasn't an ordinary circumstance. Post-reveal Notes: Many and repeated thanks to pippinmctaggart for the beta and hand-holding and to tigg71 for the read-through. Although this has been betaed, I am a compulsive tinkerer and any mistakes are mine.

Title: Girl Talk Author: Barbara (savageseraph) Original story: Singlet by kitty_trio Pairing: Miranda Otto/Cate Blanchett, Viggo Mortensen/Karl Urban Rating: NC-17 Summary: Miranda and Cate share their castmates' off-camera performances. Post-reveal Notes: Thanks to the lovely and wonderful caras_galadhon for her beta.

Title: In the Dark Author: foxrafer Original story: Scenes of Obsession by idri_fic Pairing: Elijah/Orlando Rating: R-ish (but mostly PG) Summary: At times it's too easy to drift apart. Warnings: For me, this is heavy on the angst Pre-reveal Notes: Thanks to idri_fic for the fantastic inspiration. I strongly encourage everyone to read her original story first. I kept getting drawn back to it despite all the options available to me. Idrillia, I hope you like this take on your characters. References Orlando playing Steven in In Celebration last year in London; possibly one spoiler but very minor. Post-reveal Notes: Huge thanks to itstonedme not only for being an incredible beta but also for reassuring me that Elijah is no longer a boy and is therefore allowed to be slashed. :-) I have to admit I tried very hard not to write my first Orlijah of any length, but I kept getting pulled back to this story. It was a challenge but I'm glad I did it.

Title: Proof Author: escribo (Dani) Original story: Present Day AU, here and here by foxtales Pairing: Billy/Dom Rating: PG-13 Summary: Billy wasn't always so blasé about killing. Warnings: references to violence
